The popularity of 35m2 year-round houses is related to the popular, simplified procedure for the so-called application – not requiring a building permit. The 35 m2 year-round house, despite its seemingly small size, is surprisingly functional - it can fit 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room and even a mezzanine. By ordering a 35 m2 terrace and a covered pergola together with the house, you can almost double the living space - especially in spring and summer, thus achieving the impression of a 70 m2 house. The 70m2 house is also available in Meveline as a modular house. This is possible thanks to the technology of connecting houses in various configurations and the existence of dedicated house designs.

Summer cottages and year-round cottages with an area of up to 35 m2 have gained great popularity thanks to the possibility of being placed on a plot without a building permit - on the basis of the so-called reporting procedures. However, the term summer houses without a building permit in relation to houses with an area of up to 35 m2 can sometimes be misleading. Depending on the purpose of the plot in the local spatial development plan and the interpretation of the regulations by the office, it is usually possible to place such a year-round summer house in the so-called reporting, but this is not an unconditional rule. If there is no local development plan, you must apply for development conditions. Where, due to the regulations, it is possible to actually place a year-round or summer house without a building permit, i.e. on the so-called reporting is very simple.
